Years of composing for a game as expansive as TerraTech results in a lot of revisions. Bits and pieces are cut to make the tracks better, more fitting, for the game's world. As an itchy-fingered musician without much subtlety, these redacted segments were probably for the best.

But I kept a lot of them.

The non-official Dave Dexter Cut contains my mix of every track I recorded, with many of the small and large changes restored. A mandolin part here, a banjo lick there, a full section of funky riffs, abandoned or truncated guitar solos. In addition, I included early demos and alternate versions of entire tracks. The phrase "more guitar, less restraint" comes to mind. I hope you enjoy it!

Though I have just as much nostalgia with Volume Alpha, I think this one is a little more nostalgic for me. I was primarily a creative mode player cause I sucked at survival mode for a while and I played the console versions a lot. It was not until quarantine came around that I played survival mode often. I own the CD and I pre-ordered the vinyl cause I love this album. AG319 Alt Acc
